[Electrical] Versant 180 - fiery check scanner network cable

    Morning all,

Can anyone help with this please?

I'm unable to save any settings in the photo attached, and I'm getting the error above.

Would this be the ESS PWB?

    Many thanks

    Those are not correct settings.

Are you connecting to an EFI Fiery? If so, just set everything to auto and change to 1000 full duplex

That's the problem, it wont allow me to change these settings. It reverts straight back to these settings.

      Yes it is a fiery.

      Thanks.

I'd try an NVM initialisation as it should revert to factory IP config

Did you log in as an administrator?
possibly that's why you can't modify the parameters

            Hi fatfingers73,

It's evident that the Fiery and machine network settings have been changed for the customer to use the native scan to folder features and not the Fiery Remote Scan. The machine and Fiery would normally be connected via crossover cable. The settings on the machine interface would be set to DHCP and the IP address would be 100.100.100.101. Also the IP address on the Fiery scan interface would be either 100.100.100.100 or 100.100.100.102. If this comms is disrupted by any changes in the network settings, the two devices can't communicate to each other and this isn't critical. All that happens is that tray and consumables information may not get to Command Workstation.

            Hope this helps
