i am an authorized Xerox tech on my PWS all works ok BUT i have an issue I want to try loading sw on a controller via my PERSONAL pc ( pws doesnt have serial port) is there a way to get gsn lock working on MY PC so i can do the sw load at home?

As above, easiest is a USB to serial adapter.

That said, going back to your original question, you can run gsn lock and PWS tools on multiple computers. Just log into XRXGSN online and download it all and login.

I run it all on my laptop, and a home pc.

tried that BUT it needs authrization and it wont accept MY pc as valid serial

You authorise it using your GSN ID and password...
