    Xerox Phaser 8860

Would anyone happen to have a list of error codes for this printer?
One of our customers called on this and said it had a code, and of course or sales manager said we will work on it. We don't work on Xerox we work on Lanier.
    Thanks for the help.

What is the error code? MFP version or the plain printer one?

I don't know if it is an MFP or not. It is about an hour away and I need to go today. The code I have is 080394610252. That was what I was told by our front office person, but she gets things wrong half the time.

      Thanks

That's a solid ink color printer and if you are not familiar you'd be best off not trying to service it.
Besides, thats a fairly new model and it may still be under warranty.
The customer could call Xerox with the serial number to search their entitlement and schedule free on site service if still under warranty.

fault code is actually 08,39.46 the other numbers are the copy count
the fault code relates to the cap wipe purge system some resistance is being encountered by the process dve motor when trying to clean the print head with the wiper. machine could have been turned off improperly causing the wiper to stick to the drum. maybe machine was tipped when hot and ink could be in the roll block or somewhere else.

I'm sure he fixed it by now since the original post was in February.
