The Diagnostics TOOL as I understand it is a software on the Colour 1000 that that indicates where a fault is on the machine. In actual if there is a fault or error on the machine, it will indicate where and what is wrong with the machine. I understand it is a software that is renewed every year. pardon me if answer is winding, I am not a tech engineer. I am just a business owner

sounds like you are talking about a PWS. that is for trained techs only.
You just need to renew license. Diagnostic tool is already installed on xerox 1000 controller
Thank you very much for your help. According to to my team, we have the tool but it is not just entering into diagnostic mode as the license has expired. SO I want to know if anyone can get me a renewal.

call xerox for the renewal .. providing a crack for the software is illegal

I have spoken to the local Xerox office , first the issue is that I didn't buy the machine from them. Second issue is that I bought the machine on an auction in Netherlands even though from the history of the machine , the original owner was based in Belgium. I have asked the local Xerox team for help, but they haven't been able to help so far. There is no problem giving the serial number of the machine so long as I can get this issue resolved. I need Diagnostics Tool License and honestly its less of a bother to me if whether its a cracked version or original , I just need a the tool. I don't understand why the Diagnostics tool License is not available for renewal once the ownership changes hands.

Also, you will not be able to fix xerox 1000 without service manual (edoc).
I think that you have to find trained xerox tech who have expirience with xerox 1000.

Or buy a PWS.. the EDOC.
Plan on studying the EDOC front to back and wasting time and money on parts for a wrong diagnosis of the problem.
Pay a tech now or later...
How much does being down and not meeting production schedules matter to you. You will not be able to buy parts as an end user.
If this was a low end unit I would say go for it..
But what I have seen of these models you will be shooting yourself in the foot if you try the DIY route.

Typically you need to be on contract with Xerox as everyone has stated but.... I have one that's non-expiring and can install myself without Xerox. I sent you a PM.
