I would like to know the difference between HCF 3.1/3.2 and HCF 3.5 for Xerox J75

to purchase :

or
604K81850 HCF 3.5 Feed Kit

3.5 has a chunkier gear on one of the rollers

Take a look at the two pictures and you will see the difference on the black roller gear
