Xerox 7830 admin login fail after upgrade

I cannot login as admin with password 1111 after upgrading to UI software version 75. It doesn't work from the copier or from the web interface. I have tried capital Admin as well. Everything else seems to be working on the machine. Please advise.

Thanks. I didn't get that far though. I just downgraded to software version 73, and the 1111 login works there.

Did you check on the rel notes if an intermediate patch was required before moving from 73 to 75? I am sure there was a necessary patch to move from non-latest 72 to 73 but not sure if it was the case to move from 73 to 75

There was a patch and I did apply it. But i also tried to go from 72 directly to 75, skipping version 73. So maybe that was the issue? Anyway as I said I am currently on version 73 and it's working fine for me. Now I have to deal with these image quality issues...

Well I'll probably make another thread for that, but yeah I'm just now learning about this metered vs sold thing and supply contracts and it sounds like a bunch of BS lol. I'm now wondering if this machine is going to suddenly stop working just because Xerox decides it should stop working?

As an aside, I really wish that the board upgrade didn't break all of the google links. Because now I can't click any search results for this site, and the internal search engine is... lacking. But I'm sure it had to be done or whatever. It is what it is.
