Xerox Versant V80 2nd BTR supply

I bought the rebuild kit, "roller+cleaning belt". They are made in Japan but the cleaning belt don't have thin milar felt along the edge opposite the stiff felt.
The Original has that, do you think its really matter ? or without that should be alright?
If its really matter, can you guys source me where to buy the correct one.

Can you photograph the part your are talking about please.
I don't believe it's necessary but I think the felt may be replaced with the soft side of adhesive velcro. (If it's the part i'm thinking of) .

You can use it without mylar

it's stick with adhesive matte clear velcro or something soft curtain on Original Xerox 2nd btr cleaning belt. I attached the original but dirty one sorry.
