    Xerox Versalink C505 problem with admin

    Hello all, customer called in telling me that the paper drawer some how got set to 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and that when he entered the admin (1111) to change the paper size, it says it is incorrect password. I went & sure enough, it won't except the 1111 & so I cleaned the by-pass feed system & that is what they're able to use until we figure out how the admin got changed. I googled "forgot password" and there is a sequence of things to do, first is enter DEVICE, then tools & there is no TOOLS tab to choose. So, I am hoping a Xerox tech can walk me thru what to do to rest admin password & re-enter the default 1111 for them. I also checked the switched on the drawer & where they're located in the cavity, but all seems fine.
    Any help appreciated.

    If your customer did not change password then try machine serial number instead of 1111.

      On a C505 you should be able to just open the tray, close it, then select the size and type on the UI.
