    V3100 fault code 27-310

To start from the beginning. The V3100 was printing slowly from the Fiery. I tried ghosting the original Fiery HDD with a new HDD. Printing is still slow. I have since reloaded Fiery from the original Fiery image and now the Fiery does not connect and the V3100 show fault code 27-310. The updates were done and I reseated the Fiery connections and also swapped it with another machine that is there. The cables are not the issue. I am ready to reload the Fiery, but I wanted to see if anyone else has run into something similar.

    Thank you for any help.

Make sure the fiery ip address for the machine network is set correctly.

It is 027-310. It almost looks to be the same as 127-310. It is under controller RAPs 2.3.2.

The IP address for the machine is the 100 IP. I have looked at the IP address yesterday and did not look out of place.

          What is 100 IP?
Set Fiery ip on 100.100.100.102 subnet 255.255.255.252 and at printer V3100 set ip on DHCP. In this way will works also Stock Library Manager.
Ethernet cable that connect printer with DFE must be crossover type. And 127-310 is not same with 27-310.

For the 100 IP, I did not realize that I had to type out 100.100.100.102 for Fiery and 100.100.100.101 for V3100 assigned by DCHP.

I was wrong on the fault code meaning. I looked at 127-210, rather than 127-310. However, we are getting sidetracked because the fault code is 027-310. The only thing that Xerox points to for cabling is the Fiery cabling. I reseated, I made sure they are not hung up on the rear cover and they are connected to the correct port on each end. I have also swapped out the cables.

The ethernet cable to network is fine, because I can browse the internet and I can see the other press on a different Fiery. The crossover ethernet cable is fine. I am able to see the stock library manager.

I have returned to the customer and the code is gone. I am not sure what it is, I returned and the code was gone.

I have reloaded Fiery from CD, update windows and Fiery and all is good in the world for the last few weeks.
