The problem is that the files are rotated by default to 270 degrees. When opening such a file in adobe reader or foxit - there is no problem because the program itself rotates the original.
The problem arises when the erp software which the client is testing tries to process the document. Then it reads the embedded rotation information and treats the file as such. The originals appear twisted in the system.
We need to find out if this is a Xerox issue or if it is possible to set the rotation to 0 degrees. E.g. when I create a document in Word, save it as PDF and preview it in pdfino it is 0 degrees.
The only working combination is scanning the document "horizontally" with the original orientation vertical where the encoded information is still 270 degrees but if you put the document this way it rotates to the correct orientation
