Xerox V80 Toner Build Up

Hi

Im having issues with my Versant 80 Press

Between the developer unit and the drums it has starded having a large build up of toner.

For example on a 500 sheet run I have to stop half way and remove the excess.

Ive found If I move drums around it will go away for a time and then return.

Has anyone else experienced this and what is the solution to the issue.

My old 700 never gave me this issue.

Try to replace a suction filter then vaccum area under developers modules.

i haven't found the complete solution to this as yet, having same problem and posted in this forum a few times. but i do belive the suction filter plays a part, once every few months i remove the chutes to the rear of machine that's connected to where that extra toner seems to build up... all of those chutes lead down to to the filter, i think if that filter is reallyuu clogged it causes that problem so i vaccum and clean all that in the back and put new filter in

I changed the filter and it has helped but not cured the issue.

I think its also to do with the age of drums or the work im producing.

So when it happen I either relocate the drum or change it and the issue goes away again for a time.

If anyone ever figures it out please share.
