    Xerox Versant 80 Error 093-315

    Hi

I have V80 that is giving me error code 093-315

I know this relates to the magenta toner dispenser.

I have taken the dispenser out and it is ok and turns over by hand freely.

I cant state if the motor is good or bad.

I have also looked at the magenta developer unit and it seams fine.

Now I had just put in a Third part toner into that magenta unit. I have used these toners on other machines with no issue.

Am I looking at a new dispenser unit or could it be something else causing it.

Also what is the procedure for installing the new paer.

      Just to up date you.
The machine at present is working correctly and I am at a loss of what has fixed the issue.
I changed the drive motor with a used one from another machine and the code came back.
I swapped the toner sensor with the one on the yellow dispenser and the code came back.
I put in a full set of drums and developer units from the sister machine and the code returned.
I put the orgional developer and drum units back in reset the code and its seams to be fixed.
The swapped dispenser sensor from the yellow is still in and the changed motor is still in.
In fact the motor unit is the same but I opened up the unit because the motor I installed came out of a 700 machine and the only difference was the drive gear.

I know the toner I had installed was not xerox toner but it has never given me this issue before.
I had replaced it with a genuine on so I suspect it could not detect the toner?

      Thoughts.
