You will need to replace the developer bias for K. 105E17732 should be the part number.

We tried that already, no luck.

You made sure it was the K HVPS? Not for cyan?

We're going to check further into that tomorrow. Thanks!

I think we changed out the wrong one, we were just looking on the back side and swapped out the Y and M... I found a service diagram and it turns out K and C are on the left side which we didn't see because of the high capacity tray module. Any idea if it's the top or bottom one?

The outboard one = right side on your picture.

Thanks, we'll give that a shot!

That worked! Thanks for the help guys. One more follow-up question... In the process of troubleshooting I had initialized NVM and IOT NVM, a color registration issue started after that (see attached). Any idea what we have to do to calibrate that? Tried the image quality adjustment and a couple other things but no luck.

** edit ** Fixed this, we must have fried a drum during the process. All good now!

I'll just add this to the thread in case anyone else experiencing the issue comes across this thread... after swapping the K Developer bias HVPS, the K toner NVM was set to 1 due to the issue, I reset that to 0 before attempting to print with the new board to reset the error. Here are the NVM codes for resetting the toner dispensing error.

Taken from Partsdrop.com / author Britt Horvat

Once you solve the problem and replace developer if needed, you will need to reset the Fault Code from diagnostics. I recommend leaving that to a trained technician. Below is a list of the fault codes for each color and the associated NVM Read/Write code that you would need to clear back to "0" to clear the code and get the machine to try to tone up again:
TONER DISPENSE FAULT CODES AND NVM Chain-Link codes to clear back to 0:

Black Fault Code: 093-317 (NVM Code = 761-265)
Cyan Fault Code: 093-316 (NVM Code = 761-264)
Magenta Fault Code: 093-315 (NVM Code = 761-263)
Yellow Fault Code: 093-314 (NVM Code = 761-262)

Well... Having a couple of other unrelated problems now that I can't seem to figure out 😐 Randomly it seems to be purging paper, shows an error message saying purging unusable paper and it prints a very light version of the sheet. There's nothing wrong with the paper. Sometimes it works again right after and sometimes not. Sometimes it works great for a while, then decides to be a pain. My black developer also seems to be disappearing (into waste container I think). Did an IOT initialization to see if that helps with the developer.

Any idea what could cause this?
