    EFI Fiery or xerox CWS

I choose EFI Fiery but I also like some aspects of CWS but its easy to switch between
them when I found the link on the lower right corner of the EFO
and can see the instant status on my cell phone.

I have not looked into print me yet either but it looks expensive.

Sorry, I am confused. EFI Fiery and xerox CWS are print servers, while to me LAMP is a Linux stack with a web server. Did you add a print server? That's is cool. What did you choose?

Fiery gives me all the print status and consumable data on my phone, especially if I am at some vendor and need to check my supply. Before, I followed JIT, but I am buying more because of the supply chain issues when I see a deal.
My C60 toner is less than $100 usd for 1200kg and 3.00 a chip. But sometimes, I get offered a deal, so I am more ready knowing what the machines are like. I wish we had a fiery for my refrigerator, lol. Well, there is, but here the printer does all the work.

Just a heads up to anyone who might be confused... I ASSUME the original poster is referring to CentreWare Server when he says CWS.

In reality, CWS is much more commonly known as the initials of Command WorkStation made by EFI, which is of course the Fiery interface software, and CentreWare Server is, well, never really discussed, ever, by anyone, for any reason... haha

Talking about Fiery vs CWS is like saying, "I'm trying to decide which I like better. Red, or red." since Fiery = CWS.

CentreWare is the built in web page on most Xerox machines... It's not really a print server, it's just the web interface to the machine.

If OP is actually referring to Fiery by EFI and Command WorkStation (CWS) "by Xerox" in that case I think there is a misunderstanding. CWS is by EFI, and it _IS_ the primary Fiery interface/control software.

All that said, I still don't really understand what the actual question of this thread is... haha

Hence my "I like lamp" comment. I just don't get the point of the post
