Compatible toner in Phaser 7800 not recognized

Now I know some persons here not a fan of non oem. But as it is now getting original toner is an issue. I got this compatible cyan toner because we weren't able to get an original. We put it in the machine to replace the original cyan after it ran out. We are now getting an invalid toner message.
I've even tried taking off a toner chip off an original magenta and installing it on the compatible but still no luck. I know it works on my C75.
Can someone provide a work around please.
Thanks. We need to get some booklets printed. Thanks

are you using the correct chip? phaser 7800 toner chips are different with C75 toner chips.

each color chip are not interchangeable.

Well then that seems to be the issue.
With each chip not being interchangeable then that would be the reason why I'm still getting the error.
Because with my c75 once I had a colour drum chip it would work with any colour drum no matter the colour
