[Jamming] Versant 80, stuck (jams) GC1 290gr paper in finisher

I'm considering buying a used Versant 80.

Prints are nice, but with thicker paper - 290gr GC1, the paper becomes stuck in the finisher.

Any experience with a similar problem or ideas, maybe?

That is still not my machine. It is in another city, away from my location.
I gave that paper to the guy who is selling the machine to test.
He did a test, print went great, but his objection was that, paper gets jammed in the finisher.
It is relatively thick paper, so I asked if any has any experience.
