Xerox DocuColor 240 won't boot

Hello,

we have a problem with Xerox DocuColor 240. Printer not starting after running all day..

When turning it on, loading progress bar loads up to half and stop. Because printer won't boot I can't get error code...

ide hdd
low voltage Power Supply Unit

all 3v batteries are good.

When I pressing ENERGY SAVER, STOP, AND 4 (or 6) and turn on the printer, I get DOWNLOAD MODE, but I can't find firmware for this printer...

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

The copier stop at second segment from five boot segments. Can be:

-ess memory or page sytem memory. Can try PowerSave+Stop+3 = nvm init
- reseat the iit cable for bad electric contacts.
-hdd with cable or you can try forced hdd format.
- connection between ESS and MCU or bad MCU

Probably you need pws diagnostic tool software to connect to machine and read the error code.
I hope you have service manual for this copier.

Hold power save and start and power on machine.
Hold it until get message on screen

Error is for MF rom on ESS pwb.
Also can be bad one memory module (512mb)
If you tried with new memory then try with MF ROM

I tried extract and re-insert the MF ROM.. I need to replace it?

Can I re-flash it if it bad, because I don't have another MF ROM?

Can ESS be dead?

If you have xerox pws and software for dc240 you can try to download software.
Good idea is to start with memory and mf rom.
Then you can try ess pwb

I have xerox pws for cd240/250 v1, but I'm not sure if I have a good firmware for download mode.. Do You know where I can get firmware for dc240?

If nothing happens with memory and mf rom how much chance of a bad ess pwb..?

Noo, I dont know how to download newest software to dc240... Can You help me..?

I know how to download software to printer..
