Hello,
I have a problem with my WC7225.
The device always seemed very slow when booting - and it was (not less than 5 minutes). As a test, I wanted to replace the hard disk with an SSD.
Since I also had other minor problems*, I thought I would reinstall the software once completely without cloning the old hard drive onto the new SSD.
To do this, I did a forced altboot without a backup. This also worked without any problems.
After everything was done, I then performed an NVM restore and imported my clone file again.
The boot process has become much faster (approx. 3 minutes), and otherwise the system runs as before.
The current problem is that as soon as it goes into sleep mode, the printer hangs. Nothing happens when I press a key, and the printer is no longer accessible on the network. "Soft off" responds briefly, and the light on the energy-saving button just flashes continuously. Only the main switch turns the machine off.
Everything else seems to be working normally so far - does anyone have any tips or advice?
Before I forget: I had a quite "old" firmware on it (somehow I did an update to a newer one and then a downgrade again (had only paid attention to the last 5 numbers)
SW before: 073.030.075.34540
SW now: 075.030.031.27310
Is it possible that this is due to the rather large version jump and the import of settings that may be too old?
Maybe someone has a tip or advice.
*(At 0:00 the unit wakes up from sleep mode and then doesn't go back to sleep mode, and hangs up when you press the key).
