This machine was installed about 2 weeks ago. They had a multi-sheet card stock jam in the IDM. On my arrival I could not open the transport drawer. It seems not to unlatch. I have the part number for the latch assembly. Is there an easy way to get it out without being able to open the drawer? Or, is there an alternate method of opening the drawer?

With a machine that new, have they missed the transport screw that holds it in? Obviously it would print fine, right up until you need to open it up. Check the riggers manual in edoc

LOL! Thanks for the tip. Hadn't thought of that. We had a rookie unpacking the machine. He took out the shipping screw, removed the colored string and put the shipping screw back in. It's all good.Comment
