Hello everyone,
I’m working on a VersaLink C7130 that’s been giving me a persistent 062-311 – IIT Software Logic Fault on boot, and I’ve just about run out of things to try.
I had a perfectly working C7130 right next to the faulty one, so I went full Frankenstein—swapped parts one by one, some reused, some brand new, following ProLibro step by step. Still nothing.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Still, the 062-311 error pops up like clockwork every time it boots.
- !!! After every replacement, I reloaded the software—even formatted the HDD using the special Altobot—thinking that some error might have been caught on the disk. !!!.
- Swapped the IIT assembly, CCD Assembly with CIS Cable Whole Dadf Kit, Full Rate carriage with cable, scanner PWB, and all cables related to scanner.
- Checked every connector—no bent pins or visible issues
- Swapped out the Motor Drive PWB, DADF PWB, Trans PWB, ESS PWB, and the SBC board, including all their cabling
- The machine is new, and the RAP for this problem isn’t even finished yet, but I’ve literally swapped every part I could think of from a working printer of the same model and software version—with no success.
- After I swapped the CCD cable to the ESS PWB, the 062-395 error sometimes showed up, which indicates a wrongly connected CCD cable. I’ve tried three different cables, including ones from a fully working machine. While that error disappeared, I believe the 062-311 error was still present—just not showing. I also performed NVM initialization and reset everything I could think of.This machine’s basically brand new—only around 6,000 prints—so I doubt it's anything mechanical or wear-related.
- At the very end I Replaced the HDD and RAM, thinking it could be software-related
- Reinstalled the firmware and performed resets
Still, the 062-311 error pops up like clockwork every time it boots.
