Hi
We moved a Xerox X700 last weekend and unfortunately one of the connecting cables from the OHCF to the main unit was not unplugged and resulted in the wires inside the connector breaking. I looked inside the connector and all of the wires are blue with the exception of one yellow (still intact). I re-connected the blue wires as best I could by length and connected it back to the main unit. It appeared to be working OK with Tray 6 and Tray 7 feeding SRA3 and A4 paper through the unit perfectly however when the bypass tray was selected (Tray 5) the main unit gives a paper jam error at 2a in the main drawer, however there is no paper jam and no paper is taken from Tray 5. The main unit resets when the jam process is followed ready to print again but the same happens when tray 5 selected.
Does anyone have any details of the pin configuration for the communication cable from the OHCF to the main unit or any advice please, it is the upper most connector that goes to the main unit.
Thanks in advance
