Xerox 700 - Replace display PUI-1 for RUI-1

Hi

I have a question i'm hoping you can help me with, we have a faulty touchscreen display unit on a Xerox 700 and i have ordered a repalacement after failing to repair the old one.

The version of display that is currently on the machine is RUI-1 but i have just been told that the version that the supplier is shipping is PUI-1, would anyone have any experience to know if the two are interchangable and will the machine recognise the new display when it is fitted?

They do look similar, i'm guessing the PUI-1 version is a later revision, my worry would be the control unit won't communicate with the display...

PUI-1 is user interface for workcentre 77xx.
You can not use it on xerox 700.
You can use touch panel from it on your UI
