Google discontinuing "less secure" app (Xerox MFP) will not scan or email.

Just wondering what other techs are doing for MFP's they set up using a gmail account (for scanning or email) once
Google disables the "less secure" feature in Gmail. (Scheduled for May 30th)

I have a few customers that do not have a domain setup. I used Gmail to get them up and running.

Some of my other customers are using public domains like Gmail,Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, etc.

Anybody know a public domain that Xerox MFP's will work on, once they turn off the "less secure" feature in Gmail?

Just do google 2 step authentication and have it generate an app password. Its pretty easy. Doesn't take much longer than the Less Secure app procedure

Just use the Xerox scan to cloud email app if the mfp supports apps. Completely free and scans to email through a Xerox SMTP. No config, it just works. The only thing it doesn't have is the job build function
