    Yes it can. Check first if you should have an installed software key in the machine for scanning options to be fully functional

        When you say scan to file, do you mean scan-to-SMB or scan-to-FTP?

            use the ip address of mac, sharename is login name, save in 'public', authentication must have username and password

                or if u wan hassle free just a CWIS method ..no driver just at IE type machine ip address then go to main page find properties for mailbox and retrieve your files fr mailbox. u need create mailbox at machine in order for your to do that.

                  Its scan to SMB (not scan to mailbox) on a mac (apple computer). The answer is YES, it is possible to scan-to-SMB to a mac. all you need is to enter the correct info in the address book<type is server> created in the machine
