    Xerox 6027 Transfer belt replacement

How is the replacement of this transfer belt unit (ITB)?

Searched the manual and can't seem to find a disassembly.

    Thanks!

You can't. It's a throw away printer. Notice how the manual only lists Toner as a Consumable? And how it says drum replacement takes 1.5 hours?

edit: that wasn't meant to sound like jerk. Just a ridiculous machine Xerox produced.

Wow. This is "a first" for me.

Customer said they paid about $600 for this machine no more than 2 years ago. Now they're getting magenta streaks. They bought the transfer belt on their own wanting it to be replaced.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

        Hi JR2ALTA,
My dad has a 6027 that had a page get wadded up in the fuser. I used the guide you provided to get the covers off and remove the jam. Now when I try and print a test page I get the following error:
        STACK: 0, 1.0, 15.04, 15.04
and an error message in the print queue (win 10)

I can't find any reference to a stack error. I did try updating the firmware with the same result.

This is a personal project for me, I just want to see if I can get it printing again.

        Any suggestions a re appreciated.

        Thanks
