xerox 700 integrated fiery software will not reload

I have a xerox 700 with the integrated fiery E100-05 that wont boot.

I was able to get a a copy of the system software dvd iso image

I put the fiery dip switches to on, hook up a crossover to my computer, run the installer

The fiery connects to my computer via FTP and loads a couple files (vmlinuz, diablo.initrd.gz)

Says ready
uncompressing linux.... OK, Booting the kernel.

then never goes past that. I've tried the orginal HDD and a new blank drive as well with no luck.

Any help would be great!

On your PC display appeared the message:

The installation has finished successfully ?

Do you use dvd unit or mounted iso file ?

What you described seems like Fiery try to boot from your PC.

I mount the iso as a virtual dvd on the PC

The progress bar on the PC software install never goes past 0% and after 10-15 min says failed

I've also made sure to disable firewall and do not have any other ftp services running

I will try to get a couple pictures uploaded

Case closed

The problem was that I actually have a 700i

And I need a different software for it
