xerox 4112 waste toner message reset

Have a new customer that has a 4112 with a waste toner message.I emptied out the waste container but cannot find reset. Is reset in the admin menu. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bruno

I think you should replace it and not empty it, there is also an indication for staple waste

You have to wash it with water and soap then let it dry!!

Thanks the customer ordered one but I thought it was a good idea to have one on hand. I see the sensor and can see how it may come apart. The back end where the toner drops in looks to be taped together I'm thinking Xerox themselves recycle these as well. Thanks for your quick response I am a canon tech but the company begged me to service it so I couldnt say no. Have great week. Bruno.
