Is it possible to reset Xerox WC7328's drum counter ?

My wc7328 machine ask for replacing one of drum cartridges and one at end of life... Drums will be shipped into 2 weeks or so... Can I unlock this? I found there information about DocuColor 240 and setting NVM value to 1 that prevent it from hard stop. Is there similar NVM chain for 7328? Thanks a lot

There was a link for hardware to do what you are looking for. Don't know if anyone here has used with success or not and it is not cheap. I may be getting one soon though....

I don't know about the WC7328, but I successfully adapted a simple programmer to read and write the toner cartridge chips for the Xerox DC230 series. I use PonyProg as the programmer. I just made a simple socket using resin (I say simple but it was time consuming! Easier if you can get a socket from a scrap machine!). The original Xerox chip cannot be read or written because it has special read protection which needs a password. However you can buy a replacement OEM chip which is not protected. If you read the data on the virgin chip and save it, you can then reprogram it at will as many times as you like. You can also read the data on an unfinished cartridge, reset the warning time, and reset the end of cartridge cut-off. I should be able to use the same programmer for the DC432 series also, but have not yet got the correct data format (I ordered a blank chip, but it seems to be out of stock).

Probably you could do something similar with your drum.
