    Installing DocuColor 242 (mac)

    I'm trying to figure out how to install a DC242 on a mac... no luck. Can anyone help me out?

      Printer drivers and utility software is stored on the DC242/252/260 and EX242/252/260 and it may be downloaded from the web pages of these machines. Software for both Windows (2000, XP and Vista) and Macintosh (OS 10.4 and lower) is available.

      You'll need to download the printer driver from xerox website if your mac OS is above 10.4. After downloading, click the icon to install the PPD into the library folder automatically. You'll have to manually save the PPD for OS9 and versions below. .. that is of course if you are familiar with the mac OS (you should know the basic part where you install a printer)

              The PS rom is built-in on the DC242s just like DC5065s on your side of the world - in case you're not aware of that
