Xerox WC 7830 - Repeated errors pages in gray

Hello,
I bought an older WC 7830. Firmware is the newest available.

Im having problems printing the repeated defects pages. They where printed without defect signs but the pages are just grayscale, not in yellow, magenta etc.

Normal printing in colour has no problems, just the defects pages.

Anyone has an idea, what's goine on here? Thx for help,

wow talk about little to NO information !?

total pages on K PCU,
transfer belt,
how dirty is the inside?
what was done to it?

if i were to GUESS I'd say the K PCU

Sounds like the machine is set to default black and white (which means internal pages are BW). When printing, your print driver is overriding this and printing colour.

You need to go into the web interface (type the Xerox IP address into a web browser) and change the machine to colour. You can still set default for individual things to BW (like copying and your printer driver)

WOW, that was an easy fix. I didn't knew, changing the machine to b/w is possible except in the driver.
