    New machine for printer shop

HI, have a small prints shop in Brazil anda always have a Xerox equipments.
Actually we have 2 Xerox office machines: C8135 and WC7535.
We need to upgrade to a machine have more quality and color fidelity.
My Xerox resale offer a REMAN C70 and a REMAN Versant 80.
    C70 costs around usd11k and a V80 costs around usd15k.
Can anyone helps me to make a choice?
I have no contract per click, all printer costs is mine.

    Best Regards.

c70 is sell by another printer shop and possible require maintenance

versant 80 is sell by authorized xerox reseller, fully revised, with fuzer and drum brand new.

above machines have around 1 million pages printeds.

I agree, the C70 price is not a good price. It is much too expensive. However, the C70 would probably be less costly to maintain and get supplies for.

The V80 is technically a better more robust printer, but if you are coming from a C8135 and WC7535, either one will be a significant improvement.

Service/repair parts for the V80 are a bit more expensive than for a C70.

But $11k for a C70 is too high even if it was in perfect condition, absolutely too high for one that might need service.

I don't know what the market is like in your area, but since you used USD, the C70 should probably be in the $2500 to $5000 range, depending on condition and accessories. More than that, especially if it needs maintenance, is crazy.

For color accuracy and graphic design purposes, make sure you get a Fiery with a C70. (The V80 will always have a Fiery.)

Without a Fiery on the C70, it is just a faster version of what you already have. For a print shop and for design work, the Fiery is what makes a lot of difference.
