Xerox Versant 3100 error 78-235

The Versant 3100 gets an error saying highcapacity tray fault
there is no paper jam anywhere in the machine
the only error that comes up is 78-235
the error is only from tray 7 and everything looks ok with the tray
sometimes it will feed 2000 sheets without any errors
anyone have a solution

Check and clean J transport nip release cam

We're running into this issue too. We get it sometimes when trying to feed from tray 7, not all the time, etc but it throws a wrench in everything.

Where is the j nip transport release cam located? How might we clean it out?

I looked everywhere in the parts section and could not find the nip release cam
can you point me to the right direction

You should check parts list for ohcf 3.5
