hi john i don't have latest ap450 firmware and i suggests u removed hdd

oh if i remove the hd then all the function like e-mail/scn to file /fax cant be use thanks !!!

yes if u removed hdd all scan function not valid but my case after removed hdd then reinserted again then machine works fine.
