Hello, I have a Phaser 6180 which is still working great - but I print a lot of color labels. Sometimes small portions of the toner doesn't fuse well and flakes off the paper. I am aware that I need to select the correct paper type, but I am having issues with that..
On the printer, I go to the tray settings and set the correct paper type to "Labels". Save that.. then when I print, the printer itself throws an error and tells me to insert plain paper. It's as if my computer is telling it the paper type instead of taking the setting that I saved at the printer.
Even more frustrating, there is nowhere in the printer dialog/settings/driver to select the paper type I'm using. I've reinstalled the drivers, installed used a different computer/laptop - yet I can't find an option to set the paper type..
Has anyone run into this or know how to help? Thanks!
