Xerox C8070 - Issues with copies & color accuracy.

Hello,

I've ran into a problem with this Xerox machine where my copies have a slight tint of cyan and washed up colors. All prints turn out just fine though. I've swapped drums, belts, checked for any other issues I could think of and I still have this issue. I am not sure where I can look at next to find a solution. Thanks!

Is this using the document feeder or from the glass?

This is from the doc feeder but it also has the same issue from the glass.

Update: So I tried resetting the "Copy Calibration" and the below images are the results. I get a small amount of magenta on the areas with black. If I do a Copy Calibration, then the cyan will come back.

IMHO. This is still fine. Copying color document / photo will result in degrading quality. you can play some options in the image quality / text type such as Photo, presentation. Maybe it can help

Copy quality on these machines is not great imho, but when I do have similar issues I

1. Clean optics
2. Do ADJ 6.5 (DC945 is the most important one)
3. Reset all copy and print calibration
4. Run COPY/Print calibrations
5. If background appears on copies make sure Background suppression is ticked in copy settings.

Thanks all! I will try those options and see where I get. I do hope it at least makes it look better than how it is now.
