    Versant 80

Hi guys, I have a 061-310 code. First it was an 061-326 then it changed to a 310. I broke a connector on flat cable for laser yellow while checking the flat cables. (Now i know you gotta flip up the connector holder before pulling on flat cable). I have a new MCU Board coming. My guess is that its a bad flat cable connection. Any ideas? I think the laser unit is good. 310 code is for clapper 1. I think thats for laser unit 1 for mag/yellow? Ordered new MCU Board and a good used laser unit just in case. Pray for me!

Well , on my experiences with those models never replaced an MCU for laser codes , most has been laser related, flat cable related, or flat cable wrongly placed specially at laser side it's hard to place it properly because of space. The 061-310 fault refer to a Halftone (read/write problem) pwb and MCU . The 0 61-326 refer to MCU and ROS assy (laser unit) LDD Laser Diode. both rap refer to 24 volts check up tell you this because the code change so check 24 vdc on LVPS just in case after you replace the MCU.

    Hope this helps,
