Xerox 4118f vs Canon D1180

I was about to order a Xerox 4118f for my office to replace an aging 5614, but in researching consumables, I discovered that they are really made by Samsung. Since the paper feed looks just like the crummy paper feed on my low end Samsung MFC, I now have reservations.

Does anyone have experience with the 4118f? How does it compare to the new Canon D1100 series?
