Xerox Color C60 - Error 077-118

Hi

I need help with this error code 077-118 on a Xerox Color C60

I have replaced the transport module, inverter, right door and PWA MD IO and the Fuser.

Nothing solved, when it jams paper stays fall out in right inverter door and always registers this error.

What else can I verify or test?

One pattern, happens mostly with repetitions.

Yes, and this machine is face down, and never jams with single sided print.

Yes, from all trays, from A4 to SRA3

Yes, all print works in single sided are face down and there is not a single jam

If you do not have paper in duplex module when jam is declared and paper always stay under inverter then tray module pwb and iot drive pwb can be next steps.

Because you have already replaced inverter and right door
You can try to initialize iot nvm

I will replace tray module pwb and reset IOT NVM, and after that I will give some feedback.

(strip your duplex unit- remove reg unit, btr unit fuser unit...), remove the bushings to the feed rollers (duplex unit feed rollers x3) clean the shafts and replace or clean and swop around the bushings on the shafts. (top to bottom,bottom to top) remove the drive belt and clean all the gears and shafts that the gears run on.

After some weeks this problem maintains

Replaced tray module pwb, reset to IOT NVM, full NVM reconfiguration with nvm factory values sheet. Also done software upgrade.

Write it down nvm 742-191 and 742-479 values. Set both nvms to 77.

Hi

As promised here I am. Only last week I found out the solution for this error.

I have tried everything we have talked about and nothing solved. So I had to change my approach.

After some more research, I found that there is a kit of rollers and the drive belt that might have to be replaced in the transport module

So in the absence of those I have disassembled all peaces of the transport module, I mean all with register, 2nd bias, suction belt and even the transport plate for second face.

I have observed that in the pulley fittings there was a mix with toner that was acting as glue.

All metal was cleaned with thinner and than dried. All rollers were cleaned with a powerful degreaser.

2nd bias was fully aspirated.

After all this work i have assembled all parts

Besides this, I have also properly degreased all inverter rollers, inverter door included.

First test run was with 250 two face print with A3 80 grams paper with full success

Second test was the costumer printer with tested parts, also full success
