    XEROX 7845i Controller board seven segment display error 5

    Lights on panel "nobody home"

    We reseated and cleaned all contacts and terminals on Controller PWB, incl HDD

    I had a similar issue on a 7855i and ended up being the HDD and new software

    But before going there, what are the possibilities on this one?

    More so, what do you tell the chargeable customer?

          I just got rid of all my 7845i boxes, where can I download the SD file

          I have a 7855i fully working, is the SD file different?

              Same sd card image for 7845 and for 7855

                  You need a fresh image loaded into sd card - not copied from other working machine.
