    Versant 80 Banner Printing

    Hi
    Im after buying 2 xerox versant 80s.
    Know I was under the impression that they could print up to 660mm long sheets.
    The server offers the size in the Fiery But I am unable to set the lenght an longer on tray 5 thann 488mm.
    Am I missing something.

          Can you explain that a little more.
          Are you refering to the firm ware or what

              This is XLS option kit and it must be installed and activated into EX80 EX-i80 Fiery with v1.2 sys. software.
              After activation, XLS appears in the list of installed options in Command WorkStation and in WebTools. Works from MSI tray ,OHCF bypass tray or top tray of dual OHCF to OCT output tray or top tray of BR finisher.

                  If you have XLS option on fiery configuration and have option to choose 660mm paper on command work station or driver then youmust have newer machine software then 80.32.23 to be able to set tray 5 for 660mm paper

                      The Command workstation will rip the banner sheet no issue.
                      Know I have been changinging a few things about so it may be an engine issue.
                      I have just bought 2 of these machines from the same location and in setting them up I have changed the configuration and only set up one machine so far.
                      So currently I am usinging the fiery that belongs to v80A on V80B because engine V80B Has less clicks and I wnated to put it to V80A Finisher.
                      So It may be that one machine is set up for this and the other is not.
                      Ill keep yous posted but time and space is holding me back from setting the other engine going.
