    Xerox WorkCentre 7120 - Not all options show - SMB Scan

    Good day, everyone.

    A couple of years ago, I got a Xerox WorkCentre 7120 for free from an old office building where we were doing construction work.

    It has been sitting in storage since last week, when I took it out to replace our Konica Minolta Bizhub C224e that broke down.

    The machine in itself works well; it prints, copies, and scans (via software like PDF-Viewer), but I would like to configure it to work over SMB like our old Konica Minolta since we have five Computres in the office.

    The problem is that the machine does not show any options to do so on its home screen. My question now is: why?

    Do I need some kind of activation key to get all the options? Do I have to fully reset the machine?

      Check if scan icon is not just hidden. You need log on as administrator and then go to Tools,
      touch System settings>Common service>Screen/Buttons settings>Services Home>Change settings and choose what you want to add.
      If you do not have scanning option displayed there then you need scan enablement code.
