Has anyone seen all (4) colors have barber pole strips? Before tearing out all (4) dev units I just want to see if anyone else has had this? I'm thinking also belt and transfer roller as well. image_67218945.JPG

try replacing the drum first... swap it to another machine and see whether the problem persists

All 4 colors, using OEM (not rebuilt) drums & supplies? I would suspect power supply issues. Dev is being pulled to the drum, emptying the dev housing. I would add dev and troubleshoot any PS issues.

Thanks for the responses. Much appreciated!
Oem toner and oem drums installed. Tried new drum(s) and new belt but same result. Only codes in history was the "389" codes for all the colors.
Joel, Replacing any parts or supplies will not give you immediate results. Developer has to be added, or the housings replaced. The dev housings are short on developer. Look along any color mag roll and you will see it is rippled, meaning low dev level. The key is why.

Thanks Scarecrow-can confirm all mag rollers are rippled. Customer also stated it all happened at the same time. Now it prints with the diagonal lines but hasn't gotten any worse for a couple of months.

Then adding dev may be all you need. I use a plastic spoon taped to an aluminum rod. I need to form a "funnel" in the spoon so less comes out at once. But what did you do to fix it?

Sudden, catastrophic depletion of carrier in all four developers at the same time reeks of a high voltage issue.
