Hi Techs
I have a Xerox altalink C8155 when I print or copy magenta and cyan colors are not coming out when I print the pattern test magenta and cyan are coming out blank but black and yellow are Okey what could be the problem please assist me

or something else entirely.

You are going to have to do some more troubleshooting.

Ibt is Okey
Developer powder I just added new ones magenta and cyan

For trouble shooting purpose I swapped Black and cyan developer units black was blank cyan was visible

First check LPH for magenta and cyan,

I swapped yellow and cyan cyan on yellow is working Okey yellow on cyan blank

Yep. Sounds like where I would look next.

If you do not have charge on drum you should get full tone background print.

In the old days, the technician learning the xerographic process, did not start with the replacement of parts

If you do not have charge on drum you should get full tone background print.

What could cause that? Can firmware be the issue

If you installed black dev unit into cyan and cyan was visible then do not you think the problem is with the cyan developer assy? You said that cyan and yellow developer powder was replaced. Maybe pipe blocked or mag roller not rotating - broken gear?

Black and yellow are Okey so I swapped black and cyan without removing developer powder cyan developer units worked on black and black developer unit on cyan it's blank developer units are rotating all are Okey

What about shopping cyan drum with yellow?
Is transfer belt fine?
