Problem with Fiery printing in landscape

    Hello,

I have problem with my DC12/Fiery EX 12 machine. When I'm printing from a portrait document (Corel) everything is fine. When I'm printing from a landscape document the printer asks me for the auto-rotate, I click Yes, but the print comes out with a -90 degrees rotation, as in the attached picture (the red rectangle should be horizontal on the bottom, not vertical). I have searched in all the settings tabs, nothing. In the past I worked with this kind of machines and did not had this problem. Is there a driver issue or a Fiery software one ?
If anyone here can help me with this it would be great.

    Version: 2.0
    Driver vers: 6.0.6000.16386
    User interface: 1.2.145

    Thanks.

It could be that COREL DRAW has some incompatibility issue with fiery EX12. Therefore, Fiery EX12 may need to be updated to v2 with SP2 or even v3.

The software on the Fiery is from the original cd's that came with the machine. Is there an update kit/patch to v2 SP2 or even v3 that I can find on the internet.
If you can please leave me a link or a hint that could help me find those updates.

      Thanks.

I ve heard of the same problem on EFI series fiery for DC12 and DC2045-2060 . I assume you are using corel x3 version or higher.try with a earlier version of corel like ver 11 .I had a dc12 with similar config worked fine with corel 11 now i am having corel x3-x4 and creo rip which exhibits the same problem.Workaround:I manually rotates the fines to portrait instead of corel doing the same and prints fine,.

          Hi there,
          thanks for the replay.

I'm using both X4 and Corel 12. Both have the same problem. I don't think that is a Corel issue. Yes, if I rotate the image in Corel (from landscape to portrait) it prints fine. But I was using the exact same configuration (DC12 + EX12) in the past, with the exact same software from the original CD's, and I DID NOT HAD THESE PROBLEMS. I think that is a driver issue.

I'm curious what's the latest version of the driver for DC12 ?!?
Please provide a link or an attachement if you guys have a newer version.

          Thanks

            Hello again,

I bought my machine and Fiery EX12 from a second-hand dealer, and there was no software Cd's in the package.
            Is there any way to get those CD's (v 2.0 SP2, or v3) ?
Can someone upload the CD's images or something ?

            Thanks.

Could not find this PPD option. Where exactly is located in the printers options ? Do you mean PPT, like in the picture below ? I turned that to "Yes", but nothing changed.
I have installed all the patches from Xerox site. Is there a specific patch for this problem ? If so, please upload.

                        Thanks.

L.E. Found the PPD function. That's a good workaround. But, I was using those machines in the past, with Corel X3 & X4 with no such problems.
                        Stil digging for a solution.

                        Thanks.
