Xerox 7242 Fault Codes 089-311

Hi there,


My Xerox WorkCentre 7242 told me this Error Message (089-311) after i cleaned the ibt belt cleaner.

Has anybody known issues ??

hi,
you need to celan ibt belt home postion sensor. reamove the ibt assy and then u can see thsi sensor. also check the patch of ibt belt is it in ok contidion at ibt belt . patch u will find upper site of the belt.

is there any easy way to remove ibt assy. ?

i think i have to call xerox service center

ithinkits not very difficult to remove ibt assy.
u jusy need to open front inner cover then u can easly access .
