    700 digital press fault 012-239

on the light production finisher. has anyone ever had this? it is sub-paddle sensor on failure. I have replaced the paddle motor and sub paddle sensor, did nvm ram clear on the finisher and no luck! everytime i try to staple large sets (30-40) pages of 28lb paper it stops near the end of job and ejects the last few to the purge tray.

It could be one or more of these :
    1. The sub paddle drive belt might have poor tension
    2. poor contact on wires going to the paddle motor
    3. the sub paddle home position sensor ACTUATOR is not properly operating
    4. It may have a faulty paddle support clutch
    5. It may have a faulty finisher PWB (worst case scenario)

By the way, what was your purpose of resetting the finisher NVMs? Is it required? You might have stuffed the finisher settings by resetting the NVM
