DC242 Trail Edge Deletion on Heavyweight

Here are some photos of my problem and comments. When printing on heavyweight2(3) very often appear trail edge deletion like in "IMG013.jpg"
In other words unfused toner on trail edge is shaked and distorted when passing 2nd transfer area. So on grey solids it looks like white and more dark area. Can appear Inboard or Outboard.
Also among set of prints can look like more dark distort area with edge in form of bow (see "scheme.jpg")

Eureka explain this like heavyweight LONG GRAIN paper and recommend SHORT GRAIN paper

I've checked customer's material and foud out it is LONG GRAIN, not Colotech. But on Colotech this defect appears too.

Is there any other recommendations to bypass problem? Or there is another nature of problem like incorrect 2nd BTR retract time..

    Trail Edge Toner Disturbance

Try running the image on a slightly longer sheet of paper to see if the problem disappears.
We do this on heavy and very weight stock and then trim to desired size.

It happens on both our 250's -so we assume that it's a problem inherent to the machine and not a correctable fault.

      Trail edge blur

Sounds like it could be an issue with the 2nd BTR . On the Docucolor 200 series and 6060 there is an NVM adjustment for trail edge blur on heavyweight paper. Is ther image skew? could be registration adjustment so when the paper is in the fuser being pulled off the 2nd BTR it twists the paper a little.
It sounds more like the NVM adjustment though.

        Corrected by Software Update

If this is an NVM issue will it be automatically corrected by a software update, say from 11, to 15 or 16?

          NVM adjustment

No, it needs to be changed as needed. E-mail me at qualitechcopier@cox.net. I would like to talk to you about some other stuff if you wouldn't mind.
