    error compatibility toner dc230

hi friends, I am new in the forum. excuse me for my bad English. I will do the possible one to make to understand me and I hope that you succeed in helping me. I have a problem with a toner xerox 230. practically this message of error appears: "non compatible copy/print cartridge". how can I resolve this problem? all the toners that I have acquired show the same error. they are toner USA therefore they won't be compatible with my machines (Europe, Italy). I believe is this the problem. I thought that it could be resolved. I wished to know if in the settings of the machine it is possible to eliminate this message of error. Thanks

I know it but have told me that it is possible to obviate to the problem changing some parameter in the settings of the machine.

Just had a look in the service manual. Should be possible with the dC131 NVM Read/Write routines, chain 29/10: country code. Take a note of what it is currently set to before changing it, so that it can be set back later. The default is 1, which I imagine is the US.

                You have two options

1 to replace chip with european or

2 to reload USA UI firmware to machine (to do this must have xerox pws)
