Phaser 850DP fault code

Hi! Could anyone please advise me what does the fault code 22.024.01 mean for Tektronix Phaser 850DP? Thanks for any info. I can't seem to find anything about this.

From the 850 service manual:

22,024.01 The indicates that the printhead was not parked when powered off
In the 840/850 this error code may be reported in conjuction with other faults that cause the
printer to reset. This code is not related to media jams.

Usually means machine was unpluged or a power surge occured...causing the machine to power down while not in home position. You might get away with just repowering the machine up...or you will have to manually rehome the printhead and then turn it back on.

Ops... Just found out that I have a bunch of those fault codes...

Thanks... The original problem is that there is excess of toner on the printed pages, and, more importantly, there is a vertical line (more towards the right side of the page), probably about 1/2 inch wide, where there is nothing printed. When I open the top cover, and lift the blue plastic piece, I can see that on the big clear roller there is a band of black ink (going around this roller) exactly where this line occurs. Is this a known problem or not? I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this...
