Docucolor 12 printers suddenly stop printing

Hi everybody, my name is Juan Carlos and I work for Office Digital (Fedex Kinko's Mexico).

I have a problem, yesterday morning the Docucolor 12 printers suddenly stop printing (they were printing ok all the time). When I arrived to the Store I proceded doing ping and connectivity tests, they were ok, then I proceded looking into to printer and port configuration and it was Ok (LPR, Hold), I reset the Fiery servers, network devices, etc., but the printouts weren't able to reach the command Work Station server, so they remained in the users PC's local spool and after some time the PC displayed a message like this "Can no print document" So finaly I changed the printer's port configuration from hold to direct printing (Direct Print, no Hold, no LPR) and voila !!! they started to print buuut!!! the printouts were printed directly, they passed through the command work station and no opportunity to hold it.

    Need help please !!!

Thanks in advance for your help and support

    Best

    Juan Carlos

If use direct, prints will not be in CWS.
    Use print or hold.
If use LPR protocol queue name must be print or hold (case sensitive, not Hold or Print).

Also check is port 9100 enabled on fiery and which queue use.
You can set this port to hold or print and then can use RAW protocol for printing.

      Thanks xcopy

I will do this as soon as I get to the store.

Is good to know that this is case sensitive in order not to make any mistake.

      Keep you posted
